From here or not, anyone would enjoy this southern style menu—that is anyone but the vegan that joined us. All oops on chosen company aside, the buttermilk fried chicken breast was yummy. Imagine how it would have been on dark meat! Served with garlic mashed potatoes, collared greens and corn and pineapple bread made right on the premises, the meal was as divine as the atmosphere.
I got a kick knowing we were eating in one of St. Petersburg’s first car dealership showrooms that still sports its original copper ceiling and marble floors.
Of course the biggest treat was my Long Island julep, which was as tasty as it was, eh hem, deadly. My friends sampled the pomegranate and vodka juleps.
For the three of us with drinks, it was just around $99 with tip.
